National Exhibition Centre

For more than thirty plus years the NEC has been in existence and has the accolade of being the busiest exhibition centre in the whole of Europe. The NEC stages over 150 consumer and trade exhibitions each year. These exhibitions range from Crufts to live international trade shows, motor shows, the clothes show, IPEX and the spring fair in Birmingham to name just a few.

Most years there are more than 4 million people who chose to visit the NEC. There are twenty one halls in total providing approximately 200,000 square metres of space for exhibitions. The 650 acre site ranks as the biggest exhibition centre in the United Kingdom. The NEC is well renowned for very large scale international trade fairs, but also provides opportunities for smaller niche retailers to get their products out into the public arena with support and advice from the NEC to the organisers of these smaller shows.

The NEC comprises of flat floored halls interconnected which offer innumerate possibilities for all kinds of events and exhibitions. These are further complimented by whole host of conference facilities and large banquet halls. The NEC can provide a plethora of services required for a successful event, this includes catering, security, marketing, advertising, ticket provisioning and a full range of high tech audio-visual systems. IT, utility services and high speed internet is also available with skilled staff on site to cater for all your events requirements.
The NEC statistics speak for themselves; in 2006 the NEC had attracted over 90 million visitors and staged more than two and half thousand events which generated £20 billion for the regional economy in its 30 year history.
